The Face of Immigration

Who is an immigrant? I am often asked this question, and it is simply your
neighbor, your friend, your child’s friend from school, a father, mother, sister,
a human.

Society often forgets that immigration personally alters the life of an
individual and their family.  Immigration becomes a faceless issue, meant to be
taken care of by someone else.

Here at the Law Office of Stephanie Grewe,LLC.  We recognize the personal toll
and effect your immigration matter or case takes on you and your family. We know
your case is important, and we strive to treat all our clients and their
families  with dignity and respect. We don’t force your case onto an “assembly
line” forcing you to conform to what others have done, instead we prepare a
unique and individualized plan that works for you and your family.

National Migration Week

This week (January 5- 11) is National Migration Week in the United States, an initiative of the U.S. Bishops that calls Catholics to help ease the struggles of vulnerable immigrant populations.

The Holy Family is perhaps the most famous immigrant families in history. Joseph, in a dream, was told not to return home but to flee. Taking his new family he moved the holy family to Egypt for Jesus’ early childhood. Fleeing a tyrannical king, fearing for his life and the life of his family, all while ensuring that their most basic needs were met.

It is a story that many immigrants can relate to. Moving to the United States is often a calculated decision, one that many make. Many come looking for something; something that they feel only the US can bring them.

Here at the Law Office of Stephanie Grewe, LLC. we work with immigrants facing the legal consequences of moving to the United States. We work with families and individuals to ensure that they, like the holy family, find their most basic need met while respecting the dignity of all immigrants. We are answering the call of the US Bishops to help those in need, to ease the struggles that our immigrant population in Northern Colorado and Western Nebraska face. We encourage you to call to speak with us to find a fit for your immigration needs
